I bought this because I'd rather ride a bike all the time than run at all. This helps me keep consistent with exercise, even if the weather isn't great. Yes, it rains in Hawaii.The simplicity of it is fantastic and that's what most people look for in a great product. I do have to say that I was a little panicked at first, though, because I have 700c wheels and when I first tried to fit my bike into the stand, it wouldn't fit. My wheel was about an inch too large. But the more I checked the stand, I realized that the piece that holds the pin that controls the resistance wheel can be adjusted, so I had to unscrew those screws and adjust the angle. Other than that, it was easy to set up.With regards to the noise, I don't have any other stand to compare it to, but it seems like it has a low enough noise level where it wouldn't be difficult to sleep through.Overall, for a person who isn't training for any race or -athon and just wants to have consistent exercise, I feel like this stand is a great and inexpensive option.
