Works perfectly! in Electric Fuel Pumps

Bought a more expensive pump from another seller that didn't work. Bought it and it worked perfectly on the first try. Some pointers that might be helpful: 1. Yes, this pump has been used in many small outboard models so it comes ready to use. Differences between 6 vs 8 or 9.9 vs 15 hp were mostly in a larger carburetor. However, if you need to rebuild a carburetor, you will find that many carburetor kits contain different parts depending on the model.2. You can adjust the inlet direction by loosening the filter screw and rotating the inlet; Just don't remove the gasket from its place as it could block the fuel holes. Mine had the inlet pointing in the opposite direction that the fuel line runs and trying to run a longer fuel line resulted in a kink so I had to rotate the inlet and use a standard length of hose.3. Design has changed over the years so the new pumps are thicker than the old ones, at least on my 73 6HP. So get ready to go to the hardware store for longer screws.4. Note that the 2 screws already installed hold the whole unit together. Do not remove them or the pump (with springs and small parts) will fall apart.
