I do not recommend: Fuel System

Finally got around to putting this fuel pump in and it didn't impress me. When I primed the outboard motor, fuel spurted out of the fuel pump seams. I tried tightening the mounting screws but that didn't help. When I tried to tighten the filter screw, it broke off with very little torque applied by my finger.

Knurled screw broken, leaking like a strainer

The knurled screw for the filter/intake plate was obviously knocked out of the packaging. I blew into the pump to see if it was leaking fuel and blew all the air back to me through the thumbscrew hole. I tried tightening the thumbscrew but it snapped off immediately. Removal of the filter plate confirmed that the threads were completely stripped. Knurled Free Spins are no longer sealed. Complete nonsense. Judging by the reviews, others had the same problem.
