I always read the reviews before buying and I want to say that I cannot agree with any criticism of this product. It's well made, feels solid, very easy to use, light weight, attractive, ergonomic and more than affordable. I'm skeptical of any pump gauge, but I was surprised that this one turned out to be accurate. The seller was top notch and sent emails with tips and more tutorials! If you break this pump, you're either completely neglecting the wealth of information about it, or you've got a super unique condition where you shouldn't expect the emergency pump to work. Bike pumps are usually used for emergencies but I've only been using them since I received them as they are always on the bike and easy to use. ANY emergency hand pump stops working when the pressure rises. It's just physics. This pump's connection held up well as I neared my desired PSI. If my tires need more pressure, I have the feeling that the tube valve in front of the pump would have problems. When inflating a tire off a bike on its side, the design of this pump allowed me to press my head against the ground for super stable pumping at higher pressure. I'm a restless wart, I'm always afraid I'll slip and damage the spoke or valve. I had no qualms about the staple method.
