Review on High Performance K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: Guaranteed Horsepower Boost for 2000-2006 ACURA/HONDA (RSX Type-S, Civic Si, Civic VI, Civic Type R) 69-1009TWR by Eric Cooper

Installed on a 2003 Acura RSX Type-S This air intake is easy to install and looks really nice under the hood! I was very surprised how the sound changed, at low revs (normal driving) you hardly notice a difference, you hear a little more air leakage than with the stock intake. However, once you crank it up, it sounds amazing! The sound changes completely around 4000rpm and when it hits vtec at 6000rpm it really does sound like a race car! Throttle response also seems to have improved greatly. In terms of power, you can feel the difference, but most of the time you just feel like the accelerator picks up a little bit faster. Although it seems that at high speeds it flies a little faster. Overall I am very impressed with this kit. I was worried this would make regular or freeway traffic louder, but it doesn't. I wanted the air intake to last and sound great when you rev the car. This kit definitely delivered.
