This blue helmet is too small for my 6 year old daughter and fits me perfectly. Although the shade of blue doesn't go perfectly with her blue bike, she loves it, especially over her old white helmet. Today we took a family bike ride from Irvine to Newport Beach in Southern California. . It was a 16 mile round trip and we all enjoyed the great outdoors together. On the way back my daughter and her 5 year old cousin were circling in the parking lot when my daughter fell off her bike completely after taking a left turn too hard and lost control. She fell on the left side of her body and rolled over, hitting the concrete hard with the back of her head. Luckily the helmet cushioned the impact, the plastic helmet was scratched and the piece of foam underneath was torn in several places. She was still crying because her ankle and back were also injured. But her head is fine and she said she felt a little dizzy for a while afterwards. Due to damage I can no longer use this helmet and will have to buy another one. I am grateful for the good protection this helmet offers. 5 Stars.
