The Shadow Max CPU fan looked different than other fans I've looked at before. It works silently and the RGB effect is not overwhelming. It cools the CPU well, overall I'm very happy with my purchase. There are a few things that need improvement. The user manual should explain what the two wires on the fan are for, and understanding where they connect in the computer would be a better illustration. There were many mounts, but none of them fit my computer directly. Luckily I had old screws from my old fan. The ones that came with the fan were either too big or too small to screw into the motherboard. I was blessed that the old ones I had were the right length and fit well. I couldn't use any of the springs that came with the fan as they put a lot of back pressure on the fan mounting plate. My motherboard is very old. The Lga 775 is such an ordinary motherboard that it would be nice to have the right mounting screws. I love the look and smoothness of this fan and would recommend it to a friend. Take care, Alan.
