If you have a big car or just don't want to use a sponge when something like this mop can wash your car faster then this seems like a pretty good choice to be with . And in some ways it is, in others it isn't. Let's start with the cons - part of the mop is removable and machine washable. While I haven't tried washing it to see how it holds up, there's definitely one problem: it's not very thick (especially around the edges), so if you use it sparingly, the mop head will wear out. go out and get grungy. And as far as I can tell, there's no substitute for it, so you'd be throwing it all away. Second, the hose connector is a good idea, and while I like the ability to turn the flow on and off at the mop itself rather than the faucet, it's all hard plastic. The last one I had, seemingly made from the same materials, broke and leaked forever rendering it unusable. I feel like I should probably use a "lightweight" hose (you know, the ones actively trying to twist themselves) to not weigh it down at all. Finally, as mentioned, the edges are pretty flimsy - they're not hard (i.e. metal) around the edges around the mop head so there doesn't seem to be a chance of scratching/denting your car, but I fancy it could be thicker, or a small section of the wiper is wrapped completely around the wiper head. Luckily, as I mentioned, being able to turn the water on and off with the button is great. The handle is also telescopic - you can make it long or short depending on what you're washing and how tall you are. In general, I like the idea, but not quite the implementation. It's made in China (I believe most RevainCommercial and RevainBasics products now) and it can help speed up car washes, especially on large cars. but it certainly has a lot of room for improvement. Not great, not terrible.
