The crossbar was very low because it's just a microfiber cloth on a pole but the swivel head is firm and I can push without removing the paint. Only Great Dane snot and finger paint were peeling off the walls. I am very impressed. I look forward to making windows with squeegee. I have the feeling that my life is a bit more open when it comes to cleaning because I'm so small and now I can finally get into the nooks and crannies at wall height. I just wish there was a bag for all the heads and accessories that can be attached to a pole to keep everything together in the chaos of our house. It's like my vacuum has a bag for everything. It attaches to the clips on the back. This may require a little more microfiber cloth on the pole. But I am very happy with the microfiber cloth on the pole.
