These work very well for kitchen burns and scrapes. They immediately cool the burnt area and speed up healing. I think they have actually lessened the extent of blistering if I apply immediately. These are expensive but worth it! I now buy them in a quantity of 25 to be sure I don't run out.I usually keep these on with paper tape, since I am allergic to Tegaderm. In order to do so, I leave the exterior wrapper on; I found that if I apply tape directly to this, it dries out much too fast.Spenco also makes blister pads and Aquaheal pads, both of which have a hydrogel and are more like a bandage--no tape needed.
