With so many cigarette lighter adapters available it can be difficult to choose the right one for you. I chose this device because it had the features I wanted at a good price. 1) The voltage indicator is on the splitter, not the adapter that plugs into the outlet. My outlet is on the floor under the cup holders, so I never see the display there. 2) One of the cigarette connectors is rated at 100W while most of the others are rated at 60W max. This is important to me because I want to be able to plug in a DC cooler/fridge that can go over 60W at startup. USB charging adapters that I used. While the USB ports can have a higher combined current rating, allowing all ports to charge at maximum current, it is unlikely that I will ever connect 4 devices that can draw maximum current at the same time. Time in such a hurry that slower load times would bother me. All in all, this adapter is ideal for those who need to expand their cigarette sockets by combining USB charging ports into a single, well-designed unit. Even if you only want one feature and no other, it's still a competitive alternative to a standalone USB multiport adapter or cigarette lighter splitter.
