Arrived charged and ready to use. This is the third collar set I've used on both of my dogs and it's my favorite. My dogs are different sizes. This kit allows me to adjust the size of the collar for each dog so I can put it on quickly and know which collar is which color. The kits I've had in the past were only for 2 dogs. The first set of collars stopped working and this model was discontinued so there was no replacement collar. Consequently; I had to buy a second set. On the second set my dog's collar fell off and got lost, same story, I couldn't get a new collar, I was only able to buy a set with the receiver and new collars. There are three collars and three channels in this FunniPets dog collar set. As I have 2 dogs I now have a spare collar and am ready to use if the collar is lost or stops working. A nice flashing LED feature on the collars to remind you to turn them off after use. Comes with a lanyard so you don't have to carry the transmitter all the time or worry about it falling out of your pocket. This is the first device I've used that comes with a test lamp so you can test the discharge function without hitting yourself or others. There are cases for the shocker heads for both short haired and long haired dogs, and the shocker heads are removable so you can use just the vibration or beep for training if you wish. Update 08/18/2020: I bought this system in August 2019. Since then we've used it every day to hike 1-2 miles in varied terrain (forests, swamps, deserts, rivers, lakes). The collars work well and we have had no problems. These are by far the best collars we have used. Update 03/06/2021: Still works great. No problem and we've been using it every day since.
