Stretchy material, snug fit. A little tighter fit than I might prefer, but quite satisfactory.
This long underwear is made of polyester with a bit of spandex. It's comfortable, but not as warm as cotton, or wool. I got a medium size for my average 5'10" tall body. It fits snugly. For comfort, next time I will order a large instead of a medium.
