Review on πŸ”˜ DGOL Round Stainless Steel Standard Thickness by Jonathan Bennett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice finish - measurement

Mine is almost perfect. There is a scratch on one side, but it certainly doesn't affect it. This should only be used as a quick guide and seems accurate considering you are measuring a slot and not a hole. I measured my drill bits with the other side of the template. Very accurate for this purpose and was able to properly size some unmarked drill bits. Keep in mind that this isn't as accurate with stranded wire, as the wire needs to be slightly thicker than solid wire. This applies to non-ferrous metals. It is similar to laser cutting and etching. The numbers are very clear and stand out well. The only thing I'm not sure about is what standard they use for wire gauge. The reviewer pointed out that a 16 AWG wire is .0508 inches and this gauge says it as .0625, which might explain why all my 16 gauge wires are undersized for this gauge. I think the best way to do this for complete accuracy is to use a micrometer instead.
