If you drive a lot or often I wouldn't recommend this. I tore the first roll in half while packing. I decided it was my fault, I'm used to a very elastic band. Ordered again and was more attentive. It went 230 miles before I ripped it off and threw it away. Security tape is worse than useless as it sticks to the bars and not the tape. The band is quite slippery when sweaty/wet. Because you can't pull it very tight and the protective tape is not good, the packaging may shift with a lot of force. I found the length and softness to be sufficient. The color is very pleasant. If you want a cheap band that looks good and is used sparingly/for light travel, fine. If you want to believe in something while driving hard, you just have to spend at least twice as much.
