Puzzles did not impress

Cityscape fixes some of the bugs previously mentioned in previous reviews such as: B. the position of the Liberty Bell and the Florida Everglades. Now they are in the right states. This is a 3 level puzzle. The first level is a typical 19th century US jigsaw puzzle showing each territory with the date of land acquisition. I was disappointed with this layer because all the shapes of the puzzle pieces were so similar that the kids and I placed a few pieces in the wrong places. I had to disassemble some pieces of the puzzle after realizing our mistakes. The second layer was fine, but the styrofoam construction has a very thin layer of cardboard on top that didn't work well in step 3. This styrofoam layer consists of larger pieces. which quickly merge to form the 50 states. Stage 3 doesn't have its own layer, but rather models of historical buildings and the like that connect to the foam layer from Stage 2. The thin layer of cardboard over the foam didn't hold up well, the models were pressed into holes and are now bent and a bit deformed in places. I expected this step to be the funnest and most interesting piece of the puzzle. I was disappointed by the complete lack of detail in these models. I still can't figure out if we have the right parts in the right places because I can't tell which parts of the model. 🤷‍♀️ We could better understand what went where and how easily they went in from the shape of the holes than what the model looked like. The parts don't come out of the model molds cleanly either, and I had to use an Xacto knife on almost every part of the model to allow it to fit neatly into the foam holes. It was a frustrating and annoying experience, no satisfaction. and interesting. I liked the normal puzzle from step 1 better than the models from step 3. With a purchase price of over 30€ I cannot recommend this puzzle. There's no bang for your buck. Of course that was a disappointment. I bought the Washington DC cityscape puzzle at the same time as this one (sorry I didn't buy it now). I hope it gets better than this puzzle somehow. 😕
