To be honest. I was worried I wouldn't even have all the parts when USPS said they had messed up the box upon delivery and then shipped it that way. This product was not in the official packaging, the instructions were a bit confusing and could have been worded much better. But still, I can't even say that this is my biggest complaint. When I first took it out of the plastic it had minor cosmetic damage as shown in the picture. But it doesn't matter. (I can't remember if I ordered what Revane said would have cosmetic issues or not, so it's up to me.) The wood is super super super cheap. I can't even begin to describe how cheap it is. It is much better to take one of the boards and round it with better wood, cut new shelves and paint them. I even got my finger on a splinter while collecting it. The wood comes off easily. If you're planning on using this shelf for more than just decorative figurines and think it would do for a decent plant or something, I'd start looking for something else. I placed a very, very light Christmas cactus in the ground with a cup of water, having just watered and drained the plant, and the shelf immediately began to wear out. I bought it for a child's room. I will definitely not put a humidifier on it as I know the shelves are very flimsy. Overall the aesthetic is nice. It would be very cute for cat figurines and old Avon perfumes to collect.
