Great mouse that has been sharpened for extended periods of time. purchased after using the Logitech MX Master 2S for a long time. The outdated mouse is not horrible in and of itself; it has since been moved to a laptop bag for use in the fields. I use the new mouse at home, and it has improved in almost every way: - the wheel's operation is now almost silent and noticeably more accurate, and it also no longer plays; - the forward and backward buttons are now practical; on the old mouse, they were inoperable because of the shape and location on the case; - the horizontal scroll wheel is now wider and more practical (very convenient in Excel) Outwardly, the body's design hasn't altered much, but the mouse has improved in several ways: it's now more gripping; the thumb's location is more comfortable; and the plastic from which it's built has improved substantially. While still available, the Logitech MX Master 2S is roughly $3,000 less expensive. Let each person determine whether the extra $3,000 is worthwhile. Because of the aforementioned reasons, I changed my choice for myself.
