Many uses for these bowls but they are fragile.
These bowls work well for dessert or light snacks, but I wouldn't eat cereal or anything with a lot of liquid. Also, they're pretty thin, so they don't hold heavy objects well. They were inexpensive, however, and we use them for desserts, sliced fruit, sauces and salsa, and even water for our dogs and cats when we're not at home. These aren't the most durable of bowls, but they're great if you don't want to mess up a glass or plastic bowl. In my experience there are many uses, nothing very heavy, very hot or super heavy.
