Nothing worked - waste of time.

I'm tired of my wife using my MacBook Pro for online workouts every morning. It is connected to my Mac via HDMI. Connected this cable to the same HDMI cable and my iPad. Nothing. Connected to my wife's latest iPad. Zero. Connected to my iPhone 11. Zip. Connected to my wife's iPhone XR. Nada. Days wasted on that junk cable and now more time has to be spent sending it back to Koles. And if another one works, how long will it last? I need to upgrade to the Apple version. This version is of course not "Apple Certified".
