I've literally put this on all my bikes that don't already have a speedometer. In my opinion, this is the only exact type I've found on Revain. You have to place the sensor and magnet in the right place, but installation isn't the ultimate math. I have others in a different form factor (with the same sensor placement requirements) and they are all the same or clones with a blue LED screen. You are only accurate when reading the speed in kilometers per hour, while it is always accurate no matter what unit you choose. I find the inaccuracy problem quite annoying, but this device has NEVER had this problem. The light is very bright at full power and has multiple settings. It's really a must for night driving. It even has a built in security/siren feature that you can easily set up. If someone tries to move your bike while it's armed, the built-in siren will sound. It's too loud. I also love the fact that you have light and sound controls in the form of a soft silicone thumb switch. This is way better than the other guy you can find at Revain. They also usually have 2 buttons but one is for changing the tone of the beep and the other is for changing the beep even on cheaper lower quality devices. You have to press the button on the block itself to turn on the light on these, but not on this one! You can turn on the light with your thumb without taking your eyes off the road ahead while driving. You also get a coin operated taillight in this kit that can be always on or flash one of 2 different flashes. Speed. The main unit is charged via USB (micro-USB). Battery life is decent. I can usually do several 30-45 minute rides before having to plug it back in. It just slides off the rails and you're back in business after a few hours of charging. This display also gives you temperature readings, time, estimated calories burned, time, distance traveled and trip information. I might even miss a data point or two, but plenty of information is displayed and the green LED backlight can be set to stay on for nighttime riding. I'm a big fan of this type of light. I have bought other similar ones and they are worth the money. Don't get one of the cheapest. You need this form factor because it offers all the bells and whistles for almost the same price in the roughly $30 range. It's the only system that's truly accurate and packed with useful features that make your cycling experience that much more enjoyable. You won't regret choosing this one over the others. This is great value. If you have an electric bike that doesn't have a native speedometer, then this is a must have. Just buy it! But be sure to keep the instruction manual because it can do a lot and it's hard to remember how to do everything you want to do.
