This was a game changer for my 2002 Ford F-250 short cab and commute. The truck has 205,000 miles so I know the rear springs are tired/worn out. When I loaded the body with firewood, the truck sat on the overload springs and didn't drive well. The picture shows those 60psi airbags with a bed of firewood loaded over the cabin. The truck was level and didn't even get close to the overload springs. Also came out of the forest surprisingly. When run at 15psi with no load, the truck handles much better and has much less roll in turns. It's easy to inflate with a bike floor pump when they're not loaded. I drive into the woods with minimal pressure, then inflate them before loading the wood into the truck. Installation was pretty easy and took a couple of hours. I am an avid DIY enthusiast and find it very convenient. Before that I watched a few videos on YouTube, it helped me a lot. These kits are designed for different uses, so you still have parts, don't worry! I had an issue with the standard steel clamps on the fenders. They must be reused to install the top mounting brackets. One of mine was rusty and I couldn't remove it. I had to buy a new one at the hardware store in special boxes with nuts and bolts. Also, the large mounting bolt on the top bracket had to be reused as my truck already had the gooseneck in the body and the holes for it and my frame were barely too small to fit this kit. Finally, I had to loosen my shocks and tap them inward toward the differential about 1/8 inch to allow the lower mounting brackets to sit flush with the rear axle. Nothing special, but I thought it might be useful for you guys. I'm very happy with them and hope they last a long time. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
