This is the third stand I have bought since I bought an e-book a little over a year ago . I need a stand that fits the position I like to read in at night. Maybe some of you like to read like this too, so I hope this helps. I lie on my back with a small pillow under my head and hold the book high enough to see the text. I've been doing this all my life, but now I've decided I need a stand that I can put on my chest that will hold the e-book at the right angle for reading. The first one I bought also had a pillow, something like that, but no matter how I tried to fluff it up or position it, I couldn't get it to stay at the right angle. Then there was the next one with a foam base and a hinged plastic panel that could be adjusted into different positions. It was too big and bulky and still couldn't adjust to the desired angle YET. Finally, this very light LAP PRO laptop with a simple design is perfect for my specific needs. Hooray. Happy.
