This material is excellent for making mesh for sprouting jars. As an example, I'm using 24-ounce ball wide-mouth jars. This method worked best for me. Place the jar on the dehydrator and circle the rim of the jar opening. I've found that a regular ballpoint pen works well for this. You may need to sweep your pen around it a few times to ensure you get a nicely drawn circle. Cut out the drawn circle with scissors. At first I tried cutting it with a razor but the dehydrator leaves are tough and scissors worked best. Make sure the circle you cut out only fits around the jar but doesn't overhang the edges. If there are any overlaps, cut them off. The lid should be screwed on and you now have good germ protection. You could probably make 9-10 screens out of just one sheet, so with 5 sheets per pack you'll have as many as you'll ever need.
