First of all, the video quality is amazing. You can clearly read the number plates of the cars ahead (shaded in the attached photo for privacy). The internal camera is very clear even in the dark. The GPS information worked immediately. I only had to set the date and time (which is very important as the videos are named by the date and time). Videos are saved at 10 minute intervals. This way you don't have to search for relevant frames in a long video. The packaging was surprisingly nice. The camera came in fully recyclable and safe boxes. which was nice. Installation was as easy as installing a window GPS navigator. I didn't try to hide the cables but you can if you want as the cable that came with it was long enough to run around the windshield. Also nice is that the power cord is included in the detachable base. This means that at the same time you can keep the cables connected to the camera disconnected for safety reasons. We replaced our old 720p camera. This was a bit smaller but the quality was much worse and didn't have an internal camera. I put in our old Samsung SD card which the camera had to reformat to use. It's fine, but make sure you have a new SD card.
