Review on 🌿 BotaniVet Natural Pet Wipes - 50 Count: 100% Organic, Biodegradable Grooming Solution for Folds, Allergies, Ears & Tear Staining by Tracy Erickson

My Cardigan Corgi has severe allergies to the environment, particularly to certain plants or algae by-products. Ever since we moved to the sea complex, it's been a never-ending struggle to keep him comfortable and keep his skin under control. Until we can afford to move, the struggle with them will continue. I was so happy to find them and as soon as I saw they had Manuka Honey as an ingredient I bought it. For those who don't know, manuka honey is a literal miracle. The fact that it is an ingredient and that it is effective far outweighs any complaints I have. My dog has very yeasty skin in response to a plant stimulating his system. I noticed he had a green, yeasty substance deep between his paws and immediately started looking for something to help him clean. (I've been using regular baby wipes for a few months now - BAD. VERY BAD. They don't have the right PH balance for our furry ones, so if you're using them STOP NOW. Get some dog wipes.) That's what I do did first. not sure how "dry" the wipes are, but I'm used to the moisture levels we have in our human baby wipes. I already know that you do NOT want to put a lot of moisture into someone's skin crevices as this can cause or aggravate yeast, bacteria etc. So the fact that these wipes are only slightly damp is very good. I didn't dare insist. between the paws (see moisture in the previous paragraph) but it worked very well. I only had to do this once or twice and the build up was completely gone. I now use it on the inside of his legs and paws to soothe the itching and rub off any plant matter he might get from the outside (pollen etc.). He HATES having his paws touched, but he's more than willing to let me wipe him down with those wipes. He really loves them and it takes some of the stress out of dealing with his skin condition. He is trained to give up his paws and move accordingly to wash them - he likes to do this to dry himself with them. While working on this review I discovered that this company/brand makes a shampoo with some of the same ingredients including manuka honey. I will buy it and try it as soon as possible. TLDR; - Manuka Honey is a miracle worker - DO NOT use human baby wipes on your fur babies - Moisture GOOD - Safe for deep crevices and wrinkles - Soothes with powerful cleaning properties. - excellent for the formation of yeast or bacteria - very light, pleasant smell. My only real complaint is that the set doesn't come with many wipes and I have a feeling we'll go through them quickly. In fact, it doesn't take as much as you think to brush your dog unless he's very large. As I mentioned earlier, Manuka honey far outweighs this. Quality is more important than quantity.
