I didn't understand the "Step Cone" design mentioned in another review. I got the standard cone and it was a direct replacement/match to the one I picked up which was 14 years old and rusty. Someone noticed that these novelties are made of plastic, so there is no need to paint, but that's not the case. They are made of white powder coated aluminum and will eventually need to be repainted. plastic please? Heat is not a problem, especially when using LED lamps.
