I found the magnetic attachment of the pen to the Surface Book to be very strong, although I'd like to extend beyond the left side of the display. The pen itself works very well. Its sensitivity and accuracy are more than enough to interact with windows, take notes and create technical sketches. It may break over time, but it requires too much effort for a new handle to perform typical UI tasks (e.g. using the default right-click behavior to open a context menu).
