After several hours of operation this camera does exactly what I expected. The setting is very user friendly. Live images over a wireless network are not ideal, but this is typical of a wireless transmission facility. I can't blame them. I have a basic Wi-Fi router and the camera still picks up a very good signal as it goes through four walls about 50 feet from my router. The picture is very good. Motion capture sends alerts fairly quickly, averaging less than a minute and sometimes instantly. The camera automatically captures moving images in perfect 1080p clarity. The range of the camera is good, but not outstanding. The app is average and does what I need. The microphone picks up the sound very well, even if it tends to crack here and there. I haven't had much luck with the audio conversation from the app, I'll try again soon. The zoom function is good, even better in the photo. The camera is well made, but it can be damaged if it is dropped several times. I didn't do a night vision test, but I'll update this review if I run into any issues. In general the camera is worth the money and it is a good camera. I had low expectations here. I was willing to buy multiple cameras for over $200. I studied, watched and read several reviews. The more I looked around for different models, I thought I should be a little more conservative with my money and try this one out. Worst case scenario if this camera didn't work I would lose $65 or have to return it. UPDATE (several months since purchase) * Audio playback is no longer as distracting when live streaming. * Two way communication. not the way I wanted. Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to someone in a tunnel. I noticed that 10-15 inch sound is ok. Sound reception is negatively affected by wind. * Night vision is good for face detection within 15ft, anything further will be hit or miss. The night vision function does not show the text on the shirt, which I would like. * The camera had some motion issues during playback. Once he blinded my movement for a second. This issue seems to have been resolved after the update. * Low temperatures. When it's around -4 it still works fine, no problem. * This is "very" rare, but if you experience poor camera performance, please reset. Turn off your camera, wait a minute and turn it on again. This happened to one of my cameras and helped resolve the issue. Everything has been fine for a few months since then. * Email customer service responds within 24 hours. * I was paying for maintenance on one of my cameras and one afternoon it wasn't recording. A hard reset solved the problem immediately. The camera still does pretty much everything I want/expect, so I bought another one. The bullet camera is the best and cheapest. The doorbell cam is pretty cool and I'm glad I have it. A spot light camera is too expensive and doesn't live up to the demands of the competition. I'm still happy with this purchase after a few months.
