Review on Magnet Roofing: AJC Hatchet MWT 005 MH - The Ultimate Tool for Efficient Roof Construction by Erik Gerber

I'm not a roofer by trade, but I like using tools that make my job easier. In my opinion, this hammer is only suitable for driving nails. The magnet doesn't hold and the overall feel and length of the hammer isn't good for driving roofing nails. As others have said, this takes some getting used to or the nails will bend. Swing down and away from you. Once you do that it works great, no more bending over and holding each nail. I removed the sensor and blade from the end. It looks dangerous with the razor sticking out at the very end. A normal utility knife will suffice. That being said, I would like them to make a hammer as a "no ax" version.
