Before that was S5. The S7 is a great machine that has everything I need. Soon (they promise) there will be an ate to Android 8 (February 2022). Bought from carrier. Has pros: Appearance (subjectively, I have gold) Performance always on display Samsung Pay Screen autonomy Water protection Has some cons: Not the best fingerprint scanner Died after 2 years on charging - the motherboard burned out.
