Will not fit my car for brake light
I have a 2000 Mercedes C230 and this brake light switch will not fit my car. The piston at the end was too long and stiff and didn't fit. Then I bought a brake light switch from Standard Motor Parts and it went right in and snapped easily. My car had trouble shifting out of park and now it shifts like clockwork; You no longer have to catch and hit the brakes hard to get the derailleur to move.
