Works well but has mechanical problems

Seems to work fine for my simple on-off application. The device is only 2 x 2 inches, so the keys are small, less than 1/4 inch in diameter. The biggest problem is that the mounting bracket doesn't slide over the end of the device, making panel mounting impossible unless you want to glue it on. The size of the block is 45.06mm x 45.02mm and the size of the mount to be placed on it is 45.18mm x 44.70mm. The guide is suitable if you know something about PID controllers. You can basically identify Chinglish by elimination, which means you know there has to be an adaptation for something to work, so eliminate everyone you can identify and risk guessing what's left. It's not bad. Bargain for the price if you can solve the installation problem.

Pros
  • Temperature controller
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
