Shape about half the size of my palm (medium sized female hand). I used soap in this form. I love the fact that I can use multiple colors in the mold by pushing semi-molded bits into the fin area. (the consistency of soft plasticine) and then fill the top with the base color. I used golden orange for the base and turquoise for the fins. Koi turned out cute
