Review on Pearl Inrcool Blazing Yellow XX Large by James Small

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Comfortable under a wetsuit, on the bike and while running.

OK I gave this 4 stars out of 5 simply because it is my first triathlon suit. It seems perfect but all I can compare it to is my swimsuit + compression shirt and cycling shorts. I'm 5'11" and 177 pounds with a 35" waist. I bought a big one. Overall it's tight but comfortable. Lining is necessarily thin but comfortable for 30-mile practice rides. I've worn it under a wetsuit for open water swimming and had no problems. I wonder if this is related to pool use rather than open water. Chlorine is not friendly! There are some doubts about the legality of the suit as it is closed in the front. From what I've read, the ITU has changed their rules for the sake of modesty and decency. However, this doesn't seem to be a DQ issue until you unzip it. Check the rules before you race!
