Just bought a new one. Apply a few drops of oil, load the nails and try to attach the 5/8" plywood to the concrete masonry block, which is about 1500 psi compared to 3000 for the concrete slab, but the 2" nail doesn't flush and driven about 1 psi /4". the nail was exposed. Increased the pressure to the maximum but 3/8" of the nails still didn't drive. Contacted the seller who contacted the manufacturer. The manufacturer says plywood is more durable than wooden planks. Even if it is, you can expect the gun to get the job done. Stupid manufacturer. Need to be returned. Forget the longest nails you can use, 2 1/2". , as they will not fully drive 2" nails.
