I bought these US 7 40 inch comforters to start with my first baby blanket. So far I like them very much. I consider myself a beginner but I think I'm doing well so maybe I can go to intermediate level haha. Anyway, the cord on them is amazing to me. It is very flexible and does not twist when knitting. The transition from needle to cord is smooth and I've had no issues with yarn snagging. They appear to be solid, but I suspect I won't be able to know for sure until I sort the blanket. Sometimes my stress is too high so I try to keep that in mind but no problem so far. I'll try to post pictures as soon as I'm feeling a little better. I also have a 60 inch set (still $7). By the way, the tip of the needle is quite sharp. I'm still getting used to keeping the needles the same all the time, which also means I'm still working on not pressing the needle with my working finger to remove stitches. I'll let anyone who does it like me know, which is probably not a good idea. My finger is quite sore because the needle is so sharp. However, once I start moving I don't do it as often and that's fine. I can currently recommend this product.
