Review on ☕ OXO BREW Classic Tea Kettle for Enhanced SEO by Krystal Jones

We spent a lot of time reviewing kettles before buying. I found many reviews on this model and even found a top 5 kettle rating by voting this kettle #1. I seriously dislike this kettle. I use the kettle all day and this one has been disappointing in many ways. First, the kettle's spout is low and tells you not to fill it below the bottom line of the spout. This means you can only fill it up to about 1/3 full at best. When poured, as soon as it boils, it squirts out of the spout. Even if you remember the "rules of filling," it still fizzes when it boils. I have PERMANENT water stains on my black stove because of this, and I'm not exaggerating in the slightest. If you try to pour it just after boiling, it will splatter all over the place and your tables will get wet. After all, the whistle is so quiet that you can't hear it anywhere except in the kitchen. Not good. Basically, the handle doesn't get very hot, but if it's simmering for a while, you'll need to use an oven mitt for pouring. After a few months of berating this thing, I'm looking for a replacement for it. Very annoying considering it's not a cheap kettle at a low price and it's gotten so many good reviews!
