It is easy to work with, baking and curing is questionable

I bought this box simply because I can no longer afford the Sculpey shade I prefer. I have to say this box has a GREAT color combination, the project book is cute and easy to use (my niece loved it) and the clay is a dream to work with! Seriously, it's soft, doesn't crumble, and is easy to work into projects. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for anything better. However, baking the clay seems to be an issue. If you follow the product directions, or even Sculpey's baking time/temperature instructions, this clay wants to stay pliable and won't set like it should. Even after several shots, the problem persists. That's the problem with this tone. And with some paints properly baked according to the product instructions, the finished products, regardless of thickness, were brittle. For the first time in a long time I had to put everything on wire feet to hold everything together. It's one of those clays that's fun to play with, but when it comes to completing projects for sale and whatnot, it's not perfect. This is very bad because this box has MANY pluses.
