Review on Hunter 52152 Crestfield Ceiling Light by Rebecca Porter

Good fan but missing parts

Don't trust anyone who says this fan can be installed in 1-2 hours. It's easy, but take your time. The fan arrived in good condition with no dented box or broken balls. However, 2 important screws and 4 bumpers, which should have been pre-installed in the ceiling mount, were missing. Luckily I keep the old screws and parts, so I found better screws (to attach the fan motor to the bracket, which is pretty important) and had 4 thick pieces of rubber that I was able to install to create a non-wiggling vibration of a significant magnitude -permanent mount. Fan mount for ceiling box. Without them I would NOT be able to install the fan. So. I do NOT recommend planning this fan installation in a hurry as it may take some time to get these vital parts if they are missing. Installation is done by one person if you have all the parts. Three equivalent 40 watt LED bulbs are cheap and I haven't even used them. Instead I used Philips 8.5 watt vintage style light bulbs with clear, oblong bulbs which put out plenty of light and look a lot better than the ones supplied. The fan is responsive, works without hesitation and now lights up the room. Please note the "fresh white" color matches the photos very well, it is NOT off-white. It moves a lot of air at all speeds in my 14x15 guest room. The engine is quiet.
