Hunter 52152 Crestfield Ceiling Light Review

Very quiet. It seems like a big jump in speed from level 2 to level 3. The three speed options seem a little off. Level 1 does not push out air. Level 2 is a bit faster than Level 1. Level 3 is an absolute blast.

Feels like a quality product for the price, easy to install just follow the instructions. Definitely quieter than the fan it replaced. I'm not a fan of bulb selection, but can't fault them as most companies don't even include them. Would recommend and have just ordered another one for my other bedroom.

This ceiling fan is so quiet it's hard to believe it's working. It was a little tricky to install because mine is powered by a single light switch with a dimmer switch. A switch turns the light on and off, a dimmer controls the brightness of the light, and I manually turn the fan on and off with a pull chain. It took some trial and error to get it right, but now that it's done it's awesome. As I said, silence is putting it mildly. I should have replaced my old one a long time ago.

I had two dark brown ceiling fans in my living/dining room. They had large fan blades and hung about 18 inches from the ceiling. Aside from drawing attention away from the room's decor, they didn't let in much air. The white Hunter Crestfield fan has 5 blades and is flush with the ceiling. I love this fan! Just the right size for my small kitchen so I can really feel the breeze. The last fan was too big. Assembly was easy. Snap-on fan blades are awesome! I prefer simple fans with exposed bulbs for lots of light, and I like less conventional fan blades (no exposed metal where more dust can collect) and modern globes and bulbs. After buying the right ceiling fan from 3 different stores I couldn't find anything that suited my needs. Don't trust anyone who says this fan can be installed in 1-2 hours. It's easy, but take your time. The fan arrived in good condition with no dented box or broken balls. However, 2 important screws and 4 bumpers, which should have been pre-installed in the ceiling mount, were missing. Luckily I keep the old screws and parts, so I found better screws (to attach the fan motor to the bracket, which is pretty important) and had 4 thick pieces of rubber that I was able to install to create a…
