Quiet is putting it mildly!
This ceiling fan is so quiet it's hard to believe it's working. It was a little tricky to install because mine is powered by a single light switch with a dimmer switch. A switch turns the light on and off, a dimmer controls the brightness of the light, and I manually turn the fan on and off with a pull chain. It took some trial and error to get it right, but now that it's done it's awesome. As I said, silence is putting it mildly. I should have replaced my old one a long time ago.
