Hello, this is my first personal care product review and I felt it necessary to keep one for this product (for now). I have been suffering from seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp for about 15 years. I went to a dermatologist in LA (where I'm from) and she prescribed me the Neutrogena T-Gel Shampoo Kit, Ketaconazole Shampoo, Mineral Oil, which I never used because the side effects scared me! Etc etc. it was all temporary fixes and just a band aid on the wound 😔 I've tried most of the shampoos she prescribed and they completely messed up my hair! I had knots that looked like a rats nest for days! It would be the pace. Cleanse my scalp in a few short months and come back! I was looking for a product that would reduce my dry dandruff and itchy scalp and not ruin my hair (more so than what is caused by seborrheic dermatitis) and I didn't find THAT single hair care product. I bought this bottle thinking it was very expensive (unpopular) for a small bottle (I didn't buy the conditioner because it's expensive) but decided to try the shampoo as soapberries are for sensitive skin are intended. I've only washed my hair once, but I can say that in those two days of not washing my hair, my constant itching has subsided! This is a good sign (I don't expect it to cure me but I look forward to continued use and hope my symptoms are minimized). Remember that the bottle says SOFT foam, so don't expect big foam bubbles. Squeeze a little out of the bottle and massage a little into your hands and then onto your scalp to feel a gentle cleansing. Massage this benefit all over your scalp for 5 minutes and then apply to your hair. It lathers and smells like wonderful lavender essential oil. It made my hair soft, it has great ingredients and it's a shame there aren't many reviews for this product anymore! I recommend trying this out if you have the same scalp problem, sensitive scalp, mild psoriasis, eczema, problematic skin etc that is sensitive to chemicals. I will post here in a month to update my review and trip.
