After reading the reviews on this product I had some concerns. I was looking for an affordable storage solution mostly for kids bikes and this would work great for that. It has room for full size bikes, but I'm not sure I'll be using it for that long. It will work, but I will have concerns about wear and tear on both the trunk and the bike. For the price, especially if I don't ride a high end bike, I think this would be fine for adult bikes. The product is much stronger than expected but definitely not overloaded. It was a little fiddly to put together, but not because the product is defective. It just takes patience to align the screws properly. Once assembled, it's lightweight and easy to move. The individual sipes are wide enough for a typical mountain bike tire, but not so wide that smaller tires wouldn't fit. The shape of the handlebar allows you to fully stow a variety of bikes, including small balance bikes and bikes with training wheels, in the rack. I actually bought two and joined them into one long rack. The system appears to be very modular, which is good as it can be easily reconfigured if needed. For our setup, we placed bikes next to each other that are not used regularly and simply skipped a slot for those that are used frequently. Everyone has easy access to their bikes and I was able to hang a board over it to hang my helmets on. Thanks to the extra space between the bikes, even small children can reach their bike and helmet. This is a great solution for a cluttered garage, giving the bikes their own space while still making them accessible.
