I have been using satin/polyester pillowcases for a number of years. I liked these but decided to try the silk case for a change. Did a little research and Alaska Bear seemed to have the best recommendations. They cost x-tra costs. They feel great and the light blue color I ordered is really pretty. I've washed mine in cold water on the gentle cycle (but in an old pillowcase for extra protection) and had no problems. I will be ordering more cases from Alaska Bear.
