Worked fine for a while, my headphones broke and I tried emailing the manufacturer several times but never got a reply . Tried to contact him by phone, also unsuccessful. I just wanted to buy a new pair of headphones or see if they offer better ones as some of the pairs I've bought online that are supposed to be compatible aren't. I hear screeching noises or nothing at all and end up having to rely on the screen and no sound. Incidentally, no matter how you tweak the controls, the display is difficult to see and read on a sunny day. Also, the cable that connects the ground mic to the console wears out quickly if it's folded up and removed when I'm done with it. I also want to replace. There is no website to order replacement parts or to speak to anyone. The included Cary case was also cheap and falling apart. With daily use of this equipment in the field, no matter how careful you are, the parts wear out quickly. Merely the assembly and disassembly lead to considerable wear of the product. It looks good new in the photos, but having used it for a while and replacement parts not being easy to come by, I feel like I should have bought a Fisher model for a few hundred dollars more, with basic replacement parts and even one Accessories for underwater microphone. .
