I bought this after Linux gave an alert that my m.2 drive was very hot. This was right after installing a SAMSUNG 980 SSD 1TB NVME drive so I figured I need a heatsink asap. According to smartctl, temperatures have been around 32 °C since installation and 36 °C under load. I didn't give it 5 stars because the easy installation could be clearer and include more screws. I had to use pictures/instructions from other reviews to ensure I installed the heatsink correctly. There are no instructions in the box and it has 7 screws, 6 for attaching the heatsink to the drive and one supposedly for screwing the NVME stick to the motherboard. That 7th bolt was too short for the whole package so I had to go to the parts basket to find the right bolt. As far as I can tell, the included red tape only has one sticky side with plastic on the opposite side. page to be removed. I removed the plastic and glued it to the bottom and the red part touched the bottom of the NVME drive. The last minor complaint was that the radiator I received had the word Glacier Love written on one side instead of the manufacturer's name (JEYI). ) as in their pictures. Why? Not a big deal since I don't watch it all the time, but is it ok? Overall good value for money and my NVME drive seems a lot cooler.
