It's hard for me to verify. This is one of those products that you receive and hope it works. I didn't have any particularly smelly areas that I wanted to freshen up, so I got this more as an attempt to keep it fresh. I put it in the dustiest corner of the house to see if it would help there. I didn't notice any difference at all. I then took it to an almost unused room in my house that was locked and sometimes smelled slightly. I may have noticed a little less smell, but nothing significant. I have another similar product and when I compare them I feel I can see some differences with another which makes me wonder if it works at all. Also when I put my hand under the exits on the other side I hear the sound of something hitting my hands. When I do the same, I hear nothing and feel nothing. This product is very easy to use. You just plug it in and press a button. A small green light will flash to let you know it's on. It is very slim and small, making it easy to place anywhere. I will continue to use this in different places to see if I notice a difference in other places in the house.
