While this item worked very well the instructions should have been to turn off the ignition, remove the keys and close the doors to complete the programming session. For the first two sessions, the remote didn't seem to work, so I repeated the session again, this time removing the keys, the programmer, and then closing the doors. and it worked. Remember, although it doesn't say so on the box, the instructions inside the box tell you that the programmer will stop working after (3) sessions. But hey, (2) of these sets are still smaller than (1) one retailer keychain.
