The instructions were very simple and worked great. Think. This device is only designed for 3 sessions, but if you read the instructions first and then try it, you'll find that it's pretty easy. Saved me a ton of money since my original FOB died completely.

This was incredibly easy to set up. It took about 5 minutes. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The remote matches my factory remote exactly. Works perfectly. Very good assortment. I tried to program this but the light never turned orange just flashing RED. I spoke to Dorman Technical Support and the first thing they asked was if my check engine light was on or the low tire light was on etc. I told them my low tire light was on and they said that was why the display on the programmer continued to flash red. ***Update*** Received second programmer from Revain. It also didn't work on my 2011 Tacoma PreRunner. I contacted Dormann tech support directly, they said it should work and asked for the VIN of the truck. In just a few minutes they emailed me a manual programming procedure that did not require the programming plug-in included in the kit. The process involved inserting and removing the key and opening and closing the door. The manual procedure took about 3 minutes and now my Dorman FOB is…
